I am a dementia caregiver coach and consultant with 17 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in family practice, emergency room, and urgent care settings. Throughout my career, I have treated numerous patients with dementia and Alzheimer's. I also have intimate first-hand experience as a caregiver, having cared for my own mother with Alzheimer's. During my caregiving journey, I felt alone and struggled with the limited resources available for at-home caregivers. Despite my extensive healthcare background, I found the process incredibly challenging and lacked a roadmap to guide me. This experience drove me to create the support I wished I had. Now, I want to share what I’ve learned and be that "someone" for you. I aim to provide you with the guidance, support, and resources needed to become the best caregiver you can be. In addition to my professional and personal caregiving experiences, I have been happily married for 26 years and am a proud mother of three boys. I am an active advocate for the Alzheimer's Association and have advocated for policy changes in Washington D.C. to improve dementia care. Furthermore, I am a real estate investor, managing several properties that allow me to empower and support other families creating their own cherished memories.
